The time I spent with my mother, 2026-2033(?)

From 2014 to 2021, I spent seven years caring for my mother, who had Alzheimer’s disease. Those seven years transformed me from someone who wanted to be an artist into an artist. Now, for the seven years, I will make paper origami every day, many of them each day: a simple animal, a duck. Seven years of care, then seven years of making and accumulate. Accumulation is not only a sign of time passing, but also the construction of something new.
